What a proprietary blend is
A proprietary blend lists every ingredient by name, generally in descending order by weight, but discloses only the COMBINED total weight — not each ingredient's individual amount.
What you can and can't verify
You can confirm every named ingredient is actually in the formula, and roughly which ones are present in larger amounts. You can't confirm any single ingredient's exact milligram dose, which makes it harder to compare directly against published research on that ingredient.
Why individually disclosed nutrients matter more
When a label breaks out specific nutrients individually — like PressureCalmX disclosing Vitamin B6 at 294% DV and B12 at 4167% DV separately from its 620mg botanical blend — that's a meaningfully different (and more verifiable) disclosure than folding everything into one number.
